Do your experience rapid fade after colouring your hair?
Your water could be a culprit!
Hard water has negative effects on our hair. It is mineral laden and creates a scaly film on the hair preventing it from absorbing moisture or retaining color. Chlorine, calcium, copper and magnesium bond to the hair, weighing it down, and when mixed with inferior quality/cheap shampoos, the hair looks dull, course and frizzy. Be sure to have use a stylist recommended shampoo which will be Ph balanced and low in, if not minus, the Sodium Laurel Sulphate. To cleanse the hair of buildup from hard water and other products is best to use a clarifying shampoo;; but ONLY prior to your colour service as it too can affect the colour.
